Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the production and shipments. Ensures that castings are produced according to customers’ requirements and pricing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- HVAC Systems: Maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Electrical Systems: Repairing electrical issues, replacing fixtures, and ensuring safe electrical practices.
- Plumbing Systems: Diagnosing and repairing plumbing leaks, fixtures, and pipes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, such as machinery, tools, and appliances.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical skills: A basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry is required.
- Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems.
- Physical stamina: Maintenance work can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
- Organizational skills: Keeping track of supplies, materials, and work orders.
- Safety awareness: Understanding and following safety regulations and procedures.
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to use five finger manipulations, speak and hear. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required includes close vision, distance vision, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships) and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
