TPM Adds Keyence VL-800 3D Scanner to Expand Capabilities

Precision scanning meets real-world production.

TPM is proud to introduce the newest addition to our capabilities: the Keyence VL-800 3D Scanner—a high-tech tool that blends laser scanning, digital measurement, and automated CAD model creation in one seamless process.

This cutting-edge scanner allows us to:

  • Reverse engineer complex parts quickly and accurately
  • Validate dimensional accuracy for quality control and inspection
  • Create high-resolution, exportable 3D CAD files from physical components
  • Offer faster project turnaround and tighter tolerances for our customers

Whether we’re replicating legacy parts, troubleshooting performance, or improving manufacturing accuracy, this scanner brings new value to TPM’s commitment to high-performance service.

“It’s exciting technology,” says Brad DeSplinter, Vice President & General Manager at TPM. “We can scan a physical part with lasers, instantly convert it into a digital model, and verify its dimensionally spot-on. This brings new speed and accuracy to our reverse engineering and QA processes.”

We’re currently capturing footage and practicing real-time scanning workflows. Stay tuned for upcoming videos that show this machine in action.
